A BIG thank you to all of my awesome clients that made it possible for Heartlight Photography to donate $260.00 to the Greater Lansing Food Bank this year! WOO HOO!! During the month of October, Heartlight Photography donated $20.00 from each session fee to this wonderful organization. Today I took my daughters with me to make the donation! I have know these two adorable kiddos since they were born….and their mom happens to be a very good friend too….so needless to say this session was a blast! Relaxed, fun & silly….oh and the kids had fun too! Another beautiful day (we had a lot of those this fall in mid-Michigan) and here are just a few of my favorites from the day! I still laugh when I look at the picture of them touching each others noses…I was playing “Simon Says” with the kids & when I said “touch your nose” they both went to touch the other ones nose. Cracks me up!

Love, love, LOVED photographing this little guy! I have photographed all of his big brothers over the years…he has 3…and just had so much fun in October photographing his entire family on a beautiful October morning in Grand Ledge. For this session I was able to have fun just “playing” with Derrick! We “played” for about 30 minutes and got some fantastic smiles and expressions! Some of my favorite giggles and laughs were right at the end of his session when he was getting tired and would have a huge laugh followed by an almost tearful “I have had enough” laugh-like smile. I have my computer back…Yeah! And I am getting back up to speed with all of my sessions from October…Yeah! Now I get to show you more beautiful images photographed on yet another beautiful October afternoon in Grand Ledge, Michigan! I had so much fun seeing Addy and meeting her new little brotherSeems like just yesterday we were photographing her first year pictures…wow has time flown! Addy was having so much fun running & playing with sticks along our “nature walk” during her session. She even kept very still and quiet as she looked for deer off in the field behind us. We didn’t find any that day, but we sure had fun looking. Here are just a few…I even had a hard time narrowing this session down….of my favorites from their session!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph these adorable sisters! I have had so much fun photographing both of them over the past year & seeing how much they have grown. These two spunky little girls were dressed and ready to go on this early morning! We started photographing right when they got there and within 20 minutes they had enough. But I was fast on the shutter and we had a few little bribes… we captured some great images and smiles. Here are just a few of my favorites!
